Yoga Unveiled Movie Part 1: Reveals how yoga began, tells the story of yoga’s passage to the West,describes its numerous branches, recounts the fascinating biographies of the foremost yoga
masters, and explores yoga’s astonishing medical potential.

Saturday Afternoon: Walk a forested trail to your outdoor yoga destination. Relax with a 1.5 hour outdoor yoga practice by a marvelous bay off of Lake Huron. A chance for you to re-energize and feel the gentle wind off the bay while reconnecting with the alvar ground.

Saturday Evening: After dinner a Moon Salutation at the beach which offers a soothing variation and counterbalance to the Sun Salutation.

Sunday Morning: Beach meditation for ½ hour with group. Yoga Unveiled Movie Part 2:

Optional: Add an Individual Thai Yoga massage that combines the best of Yoga and massage. Creates profound feelings of relaxation and is customized to the needs and wants of each person.

Yoga Retreat conducted in small groups in an extremely peaceful setting.
• Conductive to reflection, self-inquiry and re-charging of energies necessary to live life to its fullest.
• Relax and unwind while sharing stories over healthy vegetarian meals.

About the Teacher:

Mercedes Cueto is a certified yoga instructor; she received her training at Val Morin, Quebec at the Sivananda Ashram in 2007.
For four years Mercedes has been teaching in a variety of professional studios and community organizations in Sudbury.
Most recently Mercedes has obtained her certification in Thai Yoga Massage, an ancient unique healing art that moves the recipient through a series of yoga poses, stretches and pressure along energy lines combined with breathing instructions given by the practitioner.
